What is the standard pillowcase size in South Africa? The standard pillow case in South Africa is 45 × 70 cm, and it fits the standard pillow sold by every major retailer. Larger pillows take a continental case (roughly 80 × 80 cm) or a king case (about 50 × 90 cm); check the pillow before you buy the case. Pillow cases are the most-changed piece of bedding, so most homes keep at least two per pillow.
